Working mode of floating aerator
When the floating aerator is in operation, the water pump impeller driven by the high-speed rotation of the submersible motor and the mud mixture are pushed and sprayed to form a negative pressure zone. The generated jet is sucked into the negative pressure zone of the nozzle through the suction pipe, and the gas is fully mixed with water and sludge in the jet pipe. The jet momentum of the jet diffusion pipe gradually converts into pressure energy and enters the diffusion.
In the diffuser, the mixed gas of gas, water, and mud is forced to undergo further shearing, crushing, and emulsification, ensuring the most sufficient oxygen dissolution in the water. At the same time, under the pressure of the fluid, oxygen carrying molecules and tiny bubbles are obliquely sprayed downwards from the diffusion tube nozzle, diffusing to form water and affect the sludge at the bottom of the biochemical tank. After stirring, they slowly rise from the bottom of the tank to the water surface, and the microbubbles stop leaving the water for up to 30 seconds, completely dissolving and absorbing oxygen, improving oxygen transmission efficiency and oxygen.
The performance of centrifugal fans is influenced by the mud in the air, the high negative pressure and strong turbulence generated in the air, mixing, shearing, and the liquid and gas films that promote high-frequency oscillation. The diameter of bubbles is greatly reduced, the number of bubbles increases, and the specific surface area of bubbles increases. At the same time, the thinning of gas-liquid film can greatly reduce mass transfer resistance and facilitate the transfer of molecular oxygen from the gas phase to the liquid phase.
During the high-speed process, the jet has a high angular velocity due to the dispersing effect of high-speed rotation. The jet has strong penetration power, and the tiny bubbles travel far on the water, enhancing stirring, clogging, and aerobic capacity.



Working principle of floating aerator
The aeration of a floating aerator is a technique that enhances the strength of air and water, with the aim of dissolving dissolved oxygen in water or eliminating the need to introduce gases and volatile substances into the air. In other words, it is a way to promote the exchange of gas and liquid substances.
It also has other important functions, such as mixing and blending. The mass transfer operation and dispersion mass transfer principle in which oxygen in air is converted into water and oxygen from the gas phase to the liquid phase through aeration are commonly proposed by the Lewis and Whitman double membrane theory.
The double membrane theory holds that there are gas and liquid film, air and liquid film and liquid film at the gas water interface, which belong to turbulent flow; The relationship between gas and liquid film belongs to laminar flow conditions, without convection. Under certain conditions, pressure and concentration gradients can occur. If the oxygen concentration in the liquid film is lower than that in water, the oxygen in the air will continue to disperse into the water through the liquid film. Obviously, the most effective method to overcome the membrane barrier of liquids is to change the "gas-liquid" interface.
Aeration agitation is like this. The detailed methods are: reduce the size of bubbles, increase the amount of foam, improve the level of liquid turbulence, improve the depth of aeration equipment, and extend the contact time of bubbles and liquid. Aeration equipment is a commonly used treatment method in sewage treatment.
